12” Mahogany round dial wall clock. Flat dial with cast brass bezel and flat glass. Good quality mahogany back box with original mounting and location plates. This is a clock (strikes the time) not a time piece (just tells the time) and as such is quite rare in this configuration. It has a substantial English twin fusee movement and its chime will bring the familiarity of home to any house. The clock would provide a great feature in either a traditional home or a 'statement piece' in a modern or open plan kitchen area. Circa 1880.
